Our vegetable patch consists of these two metal garden surrounds about 80 cm high and filled with lovely dirt. We placed stones at the bottom to help with drainage and then alternate layers of dirt and compost. The bed in the background is planted mainly to herbs, radishes and the zucchini plant, while the front bed has lettuces and the cucumber plant. Should be enough to keep us supplied with greens
We’ve added another two beds for carrots, beet-root, cabbage, broccoli, onions and leeks.
