Barossa Valley: May 2016

We’re back from a week in the Barossa Valley with friends, staying in an old house in Tanunda: Paranook. We had visits to Jacob’s Creek, Seppelts, Lamberts, Chateau Tanunda and Artisans wineries, with lunch at some of these and at Maggie Beer’s; lovely food all round including several meals at the local pubs. Lots of walking around the town highlighted by John leading a historical meandering to places of interest. Other tours included a visit to a hill top sculpture park, a walk around a fascinating bush garden reserve and an early breakfast at the Saturday Barossa Farmers Market.

Wine, cheese and conversation at night with one hilarious card game of Piggy. There was lots of eating, drinking, talking, reminiscing and enjoying each others company throughout the week. A lovely time with a last luncheon at the Tanunda brewery.

Here are some photos of our time in the Barossa Valley.
