From the shed: October 2016

The photos below show two projects just finished. I’ve got all these cedar strips left over from canoe and boat building and was wondering how to use them. Chris suggested using them to make drink trays, so below is my first attempt; l suppose a form of parquetry.

The table is made with a top of Australian cedar with Tasmanian oak legs. I’m pleased with how the figuring has come out with the planks of cedar.
