Today Chris and l visited the National Gallery of Victoria (the NGV) for a cultural top-up. In the photos you will see one with a line of prams outside a room signed as “Open House”. Inside there were a series of activities around different rooms of a “house”: animation stations with different backgrounds for kids to create their own short animations; a dance floor; “bath tub” with “floating” toys; bedroom with a floppy bed for lounging on. Lots of kids having a wonderful time. After that we wandered around various exhibitions and ended up having lunch in one of the gallery's cafes. We're fortunate in being so close to the city and able to nick into the NGV for top-ups.
