It's two weeks since Axel and Milena started school. Chris and l were on pick up duties for Milena while Axel lives just 100 metres from his school, so a short walk for Rachael and Dylan. Both kids seem to be coping well with the whole experience. Yesterday (Friday) when we picked up Milena she told us she had a music lesson and played the piano and drums! And she's learning Italian while Axel is learning French.
Their start took me way back when Kathy, Callum and Rachael started school in 1978, age 6. And then l remember that when our family emigrated to Australia in 1949, l turned 6 on the second day after we left England. Lots of emotional stuff going on here.
