So l've finished stripping the boat with cedar strips and have begun the glory job of sanding the surface smooth prior to fibre-glassing. There will be lots of sanding to remove any glue spots and high points on the strips. I have to wear a mask with dust filters to protect me from the fine cedar dust which l believe is carcinogenic. I really enjoy this part of the boat build as the smooth lines of the design begin to show.
