Just back from a short trip to Vancouver to catch up with friends and check on Grace’s health. We also visited Bill and Bonnie on Salt Spring Island where we visited Mike and Michi’s studio to see the Orca skeleton they are reconstructing. Then a walk around the Anthropology Museum at UBC where we showed Zerak and Alyona, past neighbours of ours in Australia, the First Nation collection, followed by lunch at Sage. With Sarah ( Grace’s daughter) and her two children we drove to Westham Island to a plant nursery which also had goats and highland cattle in small viewing paddocks. A lovely time of catching up with people we have know for a long time. The weather was just perfect with blue skies and mild temperatures.
