Visit to the NGV 17/7/2014

Yvonne and Trevor came down from Lake Tyers and stayed with us for a few days. On the Thursday we visited the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and saw two exhibitions: Paola Pivi’s polar bears and Bushido-way of the Samurai. What a contrast between the two shows. Then on the Friday we picked up Jim and travelled down to Keith and Jenny’s place where they and John and Ruth and us went out for our monthly winery lunch. I had a delicious pizza (prosciutto, brie, pear) and a glass of pinot gris. We were the only people there so it meant we could all hear each other; terrific. A lovely three days involving friends, wine, food and conversation.
