Chris, Callum and l visited this exhibiton yesterday.The blurb from the NGV states "Pierre Bonnard is one of the most beloved painters of the 20th century, celebrated for his use of colour to convey an exquisite sense of emotion". An extensive collection of his works with only a few resonating with me, especially those with detailed facial features. Lots of discussion between us about the paintings and to his place in art. Well worth the visit.
