I've just come back from two weeks of helping Bill with his boat renovations. He's been working on the Ocean Main since May 2012. During my stay we removed the old back cabin, replaced rotten stringers and installed one wall of the new cabin; still a way to go before all renovations are completed, but progressed was made. I also caught up with friends and baby Emiko. One day was spent watching Bill preparing sides of salmon for vacuum packing and freezing. On the long flight home l upgraded at check-in to the pointy end of the plane - this is definitely the way to travel: better food, a seat that converted to a "bed" and pampering by the cabin crew.
Lovely warm weather throughout the two weeks. A thoroughly enjoyable time and lovely to catch up with the Vancouver gang.
