Covid cases here seem to be stabilising with more things opening up and us being braver at going places. Yesterday went to the gallery in Melbourne; this coming Thursday to a play and the following week to a Melbourne Symphony concert.The NGV currently has a Japanese exhibition of 720 gilded clam-shaped shells each decorated with hand-painted Japanese and Australian flowers; brilliant. The other exhibition at the gallery that we visited was Bark Ladies the work of 11 Aboriginal artists. And then we had lunch in the gallery café. A lovely day out.
