Yesterday Chris and l and our seven friends went to Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges to take a ride on Puffing Billy to our lunch destination, the Paradise Valley hotel at Clematis. Arriving at the Clematis “platform" the train stopped to let us off for the short 50m metre walk up a lawn to the hotel. Before lunch Jenny read a picture story book “Puffing Billy:a story for children”. After a delicious lunch we walked down the sloping grassy lawn to wait for the 2pm train to pick us up for the trip back to Belgrave. A terrific and very enjoyable adventure - thanks Keith.
