Native plant garden

When we first moved into our house in 1973, the garden had few plants and lots of lawn. After visiting a local public garden specialising in Australian plants, we decided to change all that and after 34 years we’re getting closer to our vision. It helps when your partner has a long history and knowledge of native flora.

Being an Australian native garden it needs less water than an exotic garden. Kurangi nursery at Mt Evelyn in Victoria specializes in Australian native plants  (http://www.kuranga.com.au).
