Yesterday Callum came with us to the National Gallery of Victoria to view the Picasso exhibition. Picasso’s works were displayed along side other artists of the time, highlighting his influence on art’s new direction. From the formulaic/saloon art of the preceeding periods to a new exploration of shape, form and content. Callum’s knowledge of art history and artists gave us a greater appreciation of the exhibition; thanks Callum.
