Chris and l have just come back from a wonderful seven days in Barcelona; blown away by the work of Gaudi. I loved walking through the narrow alleyways, getting lost and finding my way again guided by church spires. It was a great idea on our 2nd day to take the tourist “hope on and off” bus; helped orientate us to the city layout. Also fortuitous that we pre-booked our tickets to see Sagrada Familia; the queues we enormous. And our apartment was in a wonderful location -quiet, but close to restaurants, churches and museums.
