Tree removal: May 2018

In the late ‘70s we planted, in our back yard, tube stock of two Angophora Costatas (Apple Gums). They became large and tall over the years and in recent strong winds one branch landed on our back roof breaking a few tiles while another branch broke and landed in our neighbour’s backyard. And for me there was the annual ritual of cleaning up bark over a two month period during summer; bark which was shed as the trees grew. Reluctantly we decided that the trees had to be removed and after gaining permission from our local council, the job was done over three days by a very professional group of arborists. Now we are enjoying remodelling the backyard.
