This last weekend we looked after Milena and Andreja while Kathy and Danny recovered from various ailments. We picked the girls up on Saturday morning. Rachael, Axel and Amber popped over for a brief visit and joined in the hi-jinks: painting, puppet plays, Uno games, cubby building with blankets, spaghetti for lunch. After lunch, Chris and l took Milena and Amber to a park to burn off some of their energy. Home to tea for home-made hamburgers, reading the next chapter of the Lion the Witch and the Wardobe and so to bed; up the next day at 6am! Sunday lunch of pancakes and then home to their mum and dad who were on the mend. A tiring but delightful weekend with our grandkids.
